London, UK: Propeller App Limited has been selected as one of nine companies to be part of the first cohort in the PwC & UP Ventures “Future of Health” scale-up programme.
The healthcare landscape is rapidly changing and PwC truly believes that smart collaborations and partnerships are key to its success. PwC are excited to support emerging talent on their growth journey as they shape the market and as such partnered with UP to deliver the Future of Health; a unique scale-up programme to identify and nurture fast-growth health startups.
With the programme hub in Salford, Greater Manchester, it is split across two recognised major innovative health locations, the other being London. Partnering with both Bupa and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust has given access to some of the world’s leading Private and Public sector brands, to enable the startups to navigate into and discover opportunities with large organisations.
Iwan Griffiths, North West Chairman at PwC, said: “Collaborating with innovative health businesses and connecting them to our client base provides great opportunities for all involved as well as the wider population who use health services. Salford, Greater Manchester and the North West is at the forefront of health reform and has a thriving startup community which we are keen to support through The Future of Health programme.”
Danny Meaney, founder of UP, added: “UP builds and scales businesses that have the ambition and potential to change industries. The Future of Health is a great example of that, by connecting large organizations seeking to create real impact through more effective innovation to our exciting cohort of scale-ups, led by highly driven entrepreneurial teams, we can drive commercial opportunities on both sides.”
