ImproveWell approved as a supplier in the Government’s G-Cloud 14 Framework
13 November 2024
ImproveWell has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 14 Framework – the UK government’s digital marketplace – meaning the company remains an approved Crown Commercial Service (CCS) cloud services supplier for the fifth consecutive year.
CCS is the biggest public procurement organisation in the UK. The G-Cloud 14 Framework is a government initiative that makes it easier for UK public sector customers to find and buy cloud computing services. The initiative establishes Framework Agreements with service providers, ensures they pass a stringent application process and lists them on a public digital marketplace.
CCS vets and reviews suppliers regularly, which helps avoid lengthy individual tender processes and saves customers time when finding suppliers and checking their reliability.
The contract is divided into three lots, with ImproveWell included in the second lot, which is for cloud software suppliers in accounting and finance, analytics and business intelligence or collaborative working.
Lara Mott, CEO and Co-founder of ImproveWell, said: “Passing CCS’s rigorous assessments to be awarded a place on the G-Cloud Framework for the fifth year in a row shows that we have maintained our high standards and reliability as a cloud software supplier, and reflects our commitment to the NHS and public sector. Our platform was invented because the value of real-time feedback was spotted by a frontline NHS worker, and we’re proud to continue filling this urgent need with the NHS and developing new partnerships with their teams.”
Public sector customers saved £1.5 billion, an average of £150 million each year, in the first 10 years of G-Cloud’s launch, and around £3bn was contracted to G-Cloud Framework suppliers by public sector organisations in health in 2023/34.
